David Guzman
Controller
Mr. David Guzman graduated Cum Laude in 1998 from the
University of Houston, with a Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration. In 2003, he graduated with Honors
from the University of Phoenix, receiving his Master’s of
Business Administration. Mr. Guzman oversees many of the
day-to-day financial activities of the company and its
Partnerships and also administers the financial activities
of one of the asset companies controlled by an NC Venture
Partnership.
Mr. Guzman was previously an Investment Analyst for a
Pension Fund’s $450 million private equities portfolio where
he performed reconciliations and reporting, and acted as the
liaison between the general partners and the trustee bank.
Prior to the Pension Fund, Mr. Guzman worked as a Senior
Auditor for a public accounting firm based in Houston. His
responsibilities included planning audits by interacting
with senior management, developing audit objectives, and
supervising junior staff.
